We value our “classic” growths and the qualities of restraint and elegance. While Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Rhône Valley and Champagne are our preferred terroirs/ playgrounds, we are also delighted to partner you in such regions as Provence, Napa, Piemonte and any place on earth where wine is culture.

& JULIEN GACON
Wine is both a source of pleasure and an object of culture; a lens through which to see the world.
Each experience that we design and organise is underpinned by the amazing heritage, created both by human beings and Nature, of this captivating, passionate world of wine. We enjoy sharing our love of wine with enthusiasts/ aesthetes of wine from all over the world, since we believe that wine is both an object of culture and luxury and an aesthetic field.
A graduate of HEC Paris and Sciences-Po Paris, Aurélie is self-taught in wine. Through her passion, at 20 years old she quickly became immersed in the wine world. After leading sessions at several wine clubs, she soon decided to make wine her career. In Bordeaux she worked for Château Margaux before taking over the management of L'Alliance des Crus Bourgeois du Médoc. Following her vigneron husband, she settled in Bourgogne. While setting up the first and only Wine Marketing & Culture course at HEC Paris in 2005, Aurélie widened her knowledge of the great wine regions, published a book on Château Palmer and a wine manual through the publisher Nathan, and in 2008 won the European Champagne Ambassador’s trophy.
She joined Julien at Vindême as joint-managing director in 2009. Aurélie is in charge of all things cultural, such as education, conferences and consulting.
It was through the subject of chemistry that Julien had his wine epiphany. Quickly he acquired a passion for wine. He passed his Diplôme National d'Oenologue in 2001 and then travelled round the world making wine in California, Chile, New Zealand and of course back in France. But he was very soon drawn to the idea of setting up a business. He first enrolled at the EML Business School to follow a business course, and then, in 2007, he founded Vindême! He quickly had the hunch that selling wine made great sense when it was rooted in the wine world’s extraordinary heritage.
Operating today in Tournon sur Rhône, Julien is carefully expanding and developing the different activities of the company.
